90% of Spanish brandies are produced in the area of Jerez de la Frontera situated near the Atlantic Ocean, where our high-quality brandy barrels come from.
Spanish brandies usually undergo a special distillation process. Two completely different distillates are used (Holandas and Destilados). The Holandas consist of an alcohol concentration of 60 to 65 % and can be described as the actual carrier of the typical brandy aroma. The Destilados have an alcohol concentration of 84 to 86 % and are rather neutral in its aromas. Used in combination with the Holandas it will lead to a lighter and finer taste.
