BEER BARRELS

Depending on the barrel size, the thickness of the wood is approx. 30-45 mm. The barrels come equipped with fixed strong and wide hoops which either can be blackened or galvanized.

You can choose from the following types of beer kegs:

Pitch is a pure natural product, which is obtained from distilled tree resin. It does not seal the keg, but only serves to get a smooth and easy to clean inner surface. Furthermore, it should positively influence the beer taste. These barrels must be relined at least once a year.

Optionally, we offer you wooden mallets, taps and air valves in various types and for all kinds of keg taps.

PITCH LINED BEER BARRELS

DUROLIT LINED BEER BARRELS

Durolit is an absolutely food safe polyamide based plastic coating. There is no need for relining for barrels lined with Durolit.

The advantage of barrels lined with stainless steel lies in the efficiency and speed of filling and cleaning on the KEG system.

Beer kegs come with two different types of taps. At the 'Bavarian Tap' a rubber ring is used as a seal. At the 'Munich Tap' the middle part of the wooden disc installed in the bunghole will be smashed using the beer tap. This has the advantage of a stronger spout, but also requires more fingertip feeling when tapping.
