Barrels by LOUIS LATOUR

'Maison Louis Latour' looks back on a history of over two centuries. Founded in 1797, it has since been a guardian of ancient traditions. Today, the house is run by the seventh Louis Latour in the eleventh generation.

The associated world-renowned cooperage is part of the 'Maison Louis Latour' and also supplies barrels for its own wines.

OUR CUSTOMERS EXPECT THE BEST, AND THROUGH OUR DAILY QUEST FOR PERFECTION WE AIM TO SATISFY THEM.

The oak comes from the exclusive forests of France and matures outdoors for more than two years. Then the wood is processed by master coopers with traditional craftsmanship to world-class barrels. The cooperage Louis Latour produces approximately 3,000 barrels a year, half of which are used to make their own wines. The rest is exported all over the world to some of the most prestigious wineries for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

We are proud to be able to offer you a limited amount of these 'perfume of the oak' barrels.
